Description of module content:

The aim of the module is to build leadership capability through analysis of the multiple facets of professional identity. The module draws upon current research to consider identity and professional identity in the context of modern organisations.

The module focuses on leadership identity as one aspect of a professional identity. It covers the evolution of leadership theories from contingency models through transformational leadership to recent models of dispersed leadership.

Leadership theories are explored reflexively to provide contextual learning and situated in change management.
