You will have been introduced to the scholarship of learning and teaching at the start of the programme. This module provides the opportunity to focus on an area of interest to you and your professional development within this broad framework, a topic within which you can plan to enhance your practice. Whilst the module is self-directed, you will be enabled to learn more about:
• The scholarship of learning and teaching (SoTL)
• Practice enhancement
• Determining impact and
• Managing and leading change

11. Learning Outcomes of the module
Upon completion of this module you will be able to
LO1: Identify an area of your pedagogic practice that you wish to enhance and prepare a critical overview of the relevant literature.
LO2: Critically reflect on your practice in the area identified in LO1, and outline a proposal to enhance your practice, identifying timescales and resources required for effective implementation.
LO3: Critically review measures for evaluating and identifying the impact of the proposed enhancement, and present a plan for the dissemination of your enhancement project.
