The module will examine the changes in the financial technology ecosystem. Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Evaluate the theories on the financial markets and intermediation and relate these to developments in Fintech.

LO2: Comprehend the implications for Fintech developments within financial markets, intermediation and related processes such as payments services and financial management.

LO3: Critically analyse current innovations and synthesise perspectives on potential development paths for Fintech.

LO4: Understand the implications of Fintech for the regulation of the sector.
