The module will examine the changes in the financial technology ecosystem. Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Evaluate the theories on the financial markets and intermediation and relate these to developments in Fintech.

Face To Face Lecture 24 The lectures would introduce the concepts of Banking and Financial technology including the associated theories', role of government regulation and financial innovation.
Face To Face Tutorial 24 Tutorials will discuss different aspects of banking and financial regulation . In addition, you would explore and critically discuss academic journals in the field . Furthermore, group discussions would be held on selected topics such as cryptocurrencies and latest innovation in fintech .
