This module is the third of three modules situated in a spiral curriculum of interprofessional practice, spanning all pre-registration health and social care programs ( three year Bachelors and two year pre-registration masters programs) . Each module focuses on one of three key competences; Common (held by all professions); complementary (important to one profession but complementing competences of others) and; collaborative (enabling each profession to work collaboratively and effectively with others). This suite of modules aims to foster and develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours that enable effective interprofessional team working and collaboration. As such, students will be encouraged to engage in learning interactions between different professions to explore these key competencies. In this third module, students will consolidate their knowledge and skills for their professional role. develop an understanding fit of professional role with those of others in delivery of quality care, explore how complexity of care context influences practice and how collaborative practice complement’s role specific service improvement.
