Description of module content:

Models/approaches to aid clinical decision making
Common presentations of acute illness and deterioration
Revision of appropriate anatomy and physiology
Relevant clinical skills such as diagnostic measures, intervention procedures and rationale for care
Care documentation
Interpretation of clinical findings
Relevant legal/ethic issues e.g. Do Not Resuscitate Orders, medication documentation
Team working and communication issues
Models and process of critical reflection, with particular reference to 'debrief' sessions
