Practical learning (LOs 1-5) will take place in weekly seminars, which will focus on various elements of theatre design and will feature student-led presentations on a variety of texts in production, both theoretical and practical. The teaching is designed to help translate theoretical concepts into practical design solutions.

Formative assessment will occur through continuous observation of and discussion about your contribution in the weekly seminars and through peer response in each of these sessions.

LOs 1 - 5 will be assessed on two extended presentations focusing on practical design and production challenges. LO5 will be assessed through both of these presentations along with one supporting essay.
