Description of module content:

This module is designed to give you a broad and general overview of the User Experience (UX) within the context of computing and digital technologies. It introduces the key challenges of UX – cognitive psychology, social media, privacy and security, accessible design, human computer interaction, virtual, augmented and mixed reality, soundscapes – and the key approaches and perspectives that are used in UX design .

Learning Outcomes for module:

LO1: Outline the core areas studied in UX.
LO2: Describe the main approaches and perspectives used in UX Design.
LO3: Identify how UX is fundamental to their degree program
