Description of module content:

In this module you will learn the history, principles and application of interface design. You will explore what counts as an interface and consider how to design touch points between people and systems and applications.Teaching will cover the history of interface design from physical interfaces to the digital. You will gain knowledge in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and how these principles have influenced contemporary interface design.You will learn principles of User Interface (UI) Design and how web design and design principles affect the positioning and layout of screen based interactions.You will apply practical skills in the design of a user interface for an existing or proposed product.
