Description of module content:

In this module you will conduct a thorough research investigation of a topic suitable for development in your major project. You will investigate and report on literature around the topic, and conduct preliminary primary research as appropriate. You will develop and propose a plan to conduct over the course of the next stage of the project covered in the Major Project (Realisation) module.

Face To Face Lecture 8 A series of lectures focussing on academic writing and report preparation. In these sessions tutors will discuss forming research questions, selecting methods and recruiting participants. You will be guided in the planning and preparation for an ethical research project that demonstrates considered design with integrity.
Face To Face Project Supervision 14 Project supervision from a subject expert. In this supervision you will be guided through the planning and preparation necessary to conduct an effective and probing project that acts with integrity. During these sessions you will receive formative feedback on your work in progress.
