Face To Face | Practical classes and workshops | 12 | This module begins with four half-day in-person workshops (Weeks 4-5 of Tri1, the first trimester of this module) where you will begin to engage in critical reflection upon your own practice through topics of social, critical, intercultural approaches as well as inclusion and evaluation.
These sessions will begin work towards your assessments, which is further supported through regular online sessions. |
Independent Learning | GROUPIND_STUDY | 16 | Starting during the intensive workshops in weeks 4-5 of Trimester 1 (the first trimester of this module), in your peer group you will work on preparing your first formative assessment, the critique of an educational concept. You will be supported in making arrangements within your group regarding when you commit to undertaking this work. We encourage and support you to keep working in these peer groups as you work towards your remaining assessments. |
Online | Guided independent study | 164 | We will support your independent study through asynchronous tasks and engagement via Moodle and Teams, offering reading and discussion prompts.
Part of this independent study comprises workbased learning as you implement your learning and use your current practice in teaching and supporting learning to inform your learning on this module and your assessments. |
Independent Learning | Practical classes and workshops | 8 | Following the initial four half-day in-person workshops, supportive online sessions (2h) every three weeks will help keep you on track as you develop your learning and assessments. |
