Description of module content:

This module will introduce you to some of the business processes that are common to many forms of organisation and to use some tools of business analysis to get a better understanding of how organisations can understand their operations and be more successful.This will enable you to analyse and gain insight to an organisation’s operating environment through an examination of the functions, processes and capabilities which contribute to its success and add business value.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Evaluate the role of an organisation’s internal capabilities and how these may be structured to attain competitive advantage and opportunities for collaboration.

LO2: Appraise the role and scope of specific business functions and their contribution to an organisation’s delivery of customer value.
