Description of module content:

This module investigates how policies and regulations might drive or hinder successful digital transformations across different industries and sectors. For instance, the increasing use of data management and protection, of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public decisions, or applications regarding the Internet of Things (IoT) all require an understanding and swift response from public and business leaders. More specifically, the module will provide you with the necessary knowledge on how different public and private organisations adapt or respond to the challenge of digital transformations, across several policy and regulatory contexts and in different areas across the world (local, national, or international). This module is carefully crafted to accommodate the diverse needs of learners, offering tailored support for individuals from varied academic and professional backgrounds, including part-time students and working professionals. Resources are provided to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all participants. Through the integration of learning technologies such as Mentimeter and Moodle, the module delivers an interactive and flexible learning experience, facilitating seamless access to resources and active engagement in both on-campus and online settings.
