You should also seek informal feedback from your educator, service-users or carers. In addition you will be expected to undertake independent study to develop your in-depth knowledge of your practice area (LO1-6).You will be encouraged to engage in critical dialogue with your educator and peers on placement to develop your reflection on-action and help you develop your clinical reasoning skills and reflection-in action (LO1-6).
At the start of your placement you will be asked to discuss and agree with your clinical educator goals for your placement experience.Formative assessment will take place at the mid-point of your placement with your clinical educator.
The placement will involve supervised full-time practice education for a minimum of 8 weeks. Supervision may be distance or direct supervision. You will be assessed on your ability to meet the module learning outcomes.
