Mode of activity | Learning & Teaching Activity | NESH (Study Hours) | NESH Description |
Independent Learning | Lecture | 24 | We will use a ‘flipped classroom’ approach whereby each week you will watch a pre-recorded lecture. These will be between 1-2 hours in duration. Each lecture will be accompanied by a set of written notes by the lecturer to orientate you to the lecture content. These notes will highlight some key issues to consider and some further reading for your independent study. |
Independent Learning | Tutorial | 24 | You will have the opportunity to take part in live online tutorials. These tutorials are intended to help guide you in your independent learning of the subject, to acquire a deeper understanding of the core topics, to open a discussion on the key issues, and to share your learning experiences with your peers as a community of learners. |
Online | Guided independent study | 352 | You are required to engage in independent learning on a weekly basis. You will be directed to some core reading as well as some indicative reading based upon your area of healthcare practice.
