Requisites: Pre-requisite: Background in Sound Engineering or Music Production

This module introduces the stages of, methods for and techniques required for professional sound production. It teaches how specific sound production equipment is used. The stages of sound production are which include: Preproduction, Production, Postproduction and Evaluation will be explained and specific approaches for Animation, Film, Games, Interactive Applications, Music, Radio and Television will be outlined. The following sound production techniques which include: Automatic Dialogue Replacement, Dialogue Editing, Foley, Field Recording, Live Production, Location Recording, Re-recording, Sound Effects, Editing, Sound Design and Studio Production will be taught and applied to a final project. This project will be completing a professional quality sound production project for one of the introduced industries.
