On this module you will have the opportunity to develop, plan and undertake a substantial and coherent media and communication project that is resolved to high creative and presentational levels. The media and communication projects developed on this module are supported by the research undertaken on the Project Research module. You will work either separately or in small groups, depending upon the proposal, on one of these projects. A project completion plan will be agreed with your allocated supervisor. If you are in a group project, the group will agree with the supervisor the tasks to be undertaken by each person. These roles can be reviewed and revised, in consultation with the supervisor, as the project develops. Where you work in groups, your identified role will be used to identify and assess your individual contribution. You will produce, to an agreed level of completeness, a media and communication project which disseminates the work as specified. This will include final content as well as a communications strategy. This project will draw on media and communication practices in persuasion, advertising, public relations, publishing, journalism, television, and/or film, as appropriate. The project will enable you to demonstrate the full range of your media and communication skills. You will undertake appropriate additional research as required to support the development of the communication strategy which underpins your final project. You will manage your own time on the project and demonstrate professional values throughout.
