Description of module content:

On this module you will be introduced to issues in contemporary photography and modes of representation and presentation. You will undertake a set project, which covers studio still life and studio portraiture, both of which are underpinned by a clear understanding of function and intended audience and context.
Learning Outcomes for module:

Upon completion of this module you will be able to:
LO1: Demonstrate the application of advanced techniques in still life and portraiture;
LO2: Apply sophisticated lighting techniques in the still life and portrait studio;
LO3: Write a coherent proposal and execute an extended project, appropriately presented;
LO4: Analyse and evaluate, via a self assessment, their completed project.
