On this module you will develop knowledge of lighting, portrait and studio processes, exploring issue of subjectivity, identity and visual representation. You will be working within the genre of portraiture using a variety of camera formats, light sources and image processing techniques to complete the exercises and main project. Analogue film and traditional printing processes will be introduced. Production of a workbook further develops your knowledge of applications of theory and context and documents your research, experimentation and organisation of your work.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to
