Description of module content:

This module will involve working on a series of project briefs designed to advance your client-based working methodologies. You will develop your professional experience by simulating real-world scenarios, interpreting client needs, and delivering creative solutions to professional standards. Through both collaborative and independent work, you will refine your technical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills. By the end of the module, you will have built a diverse portfolio that showcases your versatility and readiness to succeed in the creative industries.

Face To Face Lecture 8 Informative lectures for the input of specific subjects into the curriculum, supported by learning technologies (Moodle). Lectures to students engage with various examples of creative photography contemporary and conceptual. Learning to evaluate the content of delivered information in relation to assignments and are encouraged to share ideas and responses.
Face To Face Tutorial 7.5 Work in Progress Tutorials Academic staff and graduate assistants work with students in discussing and analysing work-in-progress through a series of tutorials Groups feedback and reviews. Tutorials are an crucial group activity in the creation of creative ideas and images. Students present and evaluate their work through feedback and peer review. Students present work and receive feedback on how their work is being interpreted, they learn how to articulate their ideas, understand how their work
Online Guided independent study 184.5 Students are guided by academic tutors to undertake creative and technical briefs assigned to them by academic staff in unsupervised time, giving them autonomy over their approach, location and technical application. The Online Learning Environment (Moodle) supports the independent study with multiple guides and instructions aimed at furthering technical and creative abilities.

Through these briefs, students develop competence across various components of professional photography, including technical execution, creative problem-solving, and client engagement. The completed projects, including final photographic outputs and any supporting documentation, are submitted for final summative assessment.
Portfolio 40 1~2~3~4~5 Exam Period , WORDS= portfolio A creative workbook detailing the student’s exploration of research, creative and technical experimentation, critical evaluation, process explanation, and outcome analysis. This workbook can be compiled digitally or physically, taking various forms depending on the student’s preferred working practice. It should include visual research, documentation of creative development (e.g., test shots), and reflective commentary on the project’s progression, challenges, and achievements.
