On this module you will develop a number of strands of creative and practice work for television production, some of which will progress to production in Trimester 2 as your Final Year Project. On this module you will extend the knowledge, skills and understanding attained in the Television Project and Research modules at Level 9 in order to research and devise a suitable project idea for further development and production in Trimester 2. The aim of this module is to investigate and experiment to identify a range of potential pathways prior to making an informed decision about which creative practice-based project you will complete for your Final Project. Your work will involve ideas research; writing treatments; format and script development; storyboarding and enhanced technical skills training.
On this module you will work individually and collectively to devise and plan the projects which you will undertake as Final Year Projects in Trimester 2. There will be workshops and tutorials to enable you to assemble the technical skills required in order to organise and deliver a project at a high standard of creative practice in television production, as agreed with the Module Leader.
