Learning & Teaching methods including their alignment to LOsOn this module you will be introduced to the key elements necessary to enable you to develop the skills required to promote yourself and your work to potential clients, employers, and industry professionals (LOs 1, 2, 4). The main focus of this module will be to enable you to develop and create a professional portfolio suitable for a range of distribution methods to a targeted audience of your choice (LOs 2, 3), which is negotiated through a learning agreement. Through research and experimentation using industry examples, you will build upon your portfolio development (LOs 3, 4). Through workshops, lectures and individual tutorials you will develop a clearer understanding of the creative process of portfolio development, editing and production (LOs 2, 3, 4), enabling you to create a dynamic and professional portfolio suitable for a range of professional distribution opportunities (LOs 1, 2, 3, 4). Embedding of employability/PDP/Scholarship SkillsThis module provides you with the opportunity to engage with the various methods of contemporary presentation being used by the photographic industry. Development, experimentation and learning from examples will enable you to create your own professional portfolio. The knowledge, skills and experience gained will be central to your employability, creativity, self motivation, self awareness and reflection. The development of an individual practice which suits your interests and aspirations, with the effective use of key intellectual specialist and transferrable skills and a knowledge of the professional requirements of your chosen photographic specialism will facilitate you to evaluate your own learning, methods of presentation, performance and achievements.Assessment (formative or summative)You will undertake one component of assessment during the module, comprising two elements: a Print Portfolio submission (LOs 1,2, 3, 4) and an Online Portfolio subm
