Laboratory demonstration of the current technologies will allow the student to engage and reflect on the theoretical topic in a practical sense. The tutorial sessions allow the student to a) practice exam type questions from a directed study schedule whilst at the same time reinforce the theory of the subject and b) participate in seminars, facilitated by the module leader, on technologically related topics.During the tutprial sessions, the tutor and students will run seminars. The laboratory experience will allow the student access to current technology in a workig environment.

Student understanding and progress will be continually assessed during weekly tutorial sessions through medium of tutorial sheets, group discussions and seminars.

One cousework covering all learning outcomes during week 12 as well as a final exam.
