A blended approach will be utilised within this module which means that there wil be a combination of face to face and online learning opportunites. Lectures and tutorials will be used to deliver core concepts and ideas relating to development of understanding of the role of the mental health nurse (LO1-5). Materials and activities will be provided via a virtual learning environment to supplement and compliment your learning within lectures and tutorials ( LO1-5). Lectures and tutorials will be recorded, enabling you to access these via your virtual learning environment to better support your development. Principles of inclusive learning wil be utilised within all teaching delivery to support all learners to achieve. Scenario based approaches will enable application of nursing practice within a learning environment to enrich and deepen student understanding of mental health nursing practice (LO3&4).
