The module acknowledges that students studying at this level have effective reflective skills. This module enables the student to further develop reflection which is underpinned by critical thinking, reading and writing. The module promotes professional development in relation to the student’s own learning needs, personal, professional and/or academic interests. Content includes drawing up a Learning Agreement: - expectations; how to write learning outcomes at level 10; Different types of evidence may be used in the portfolio ie., exploration of the concept of reflection, use and appraisal of different reflective models; activities to facilitate a deeper understanding of the process of critical thinking and writing and its application to professional and practice development.
