Description of module content:

This module offers the opportunity to consolidate learning to demonstrate and achieve a recognised advanced clinical practice award. There will guidance offered to assist you in identifying individual learning needs which pertain to own professional role and agreed with the practice learning environment.

A series of tutorial based classes will be offered to guide the practice based learning process with the aim to support the transition to Advanced Clinical Practice. This includes the completion of national and organisational agreed competencies.

Learning Outcomes for module:

LO1: Plan a negotiated learning agreement reflective of individual, professional and organisational needs.
LO2: Exercise appropriate judgement when applying advanced knowledge and skills pertaining to own professional role and practice.
LO3: Appraise the contribution of the professional role relating this to the four pillars of advanced clinical practice.
LO4: Critically reflect on the learning experience within the workplace considering the impact on quality and care.
