Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Approach: |
There will be a blended approach to the teaching and learning in this module. The on-line learning package relating to anatomy and physiology will be continued over the duration of the module. You will explore biological aspects of health and their impact on health and wellbeing. The key sociological and psychological perspectives relevant to a range of populations groups and health related issues will be examined (LO1&2). The determinants of health and the evidence base supporting the impact of health and wellbeing will be investigated (LO3). The health and social care agenda will be introduced to examine its impact on health care provision (LO4). You will develop skills to competently source and cite references within academic work (LO5).The teaching and learning approach in this module will continue to expose the students to Inter Professional Education (IPE).

A detailed outline of the case scenario will be used as a trigger to generate the summative assessment which will be submitted in week 9.

Report LO 1-5A 3, 500 word report will be submitted in week 14 of the trimester.
