This module is the second of three modules situated in a spiral curriculum of interprofessional practice, spanning all pre-registration health and social care programs ( three year Bachelors and two year pre-registration masters programs) . Each module focuses on one of three key competences; Common (held by all professions); complementary (important to one profession but complementing competences of others) and; collaborative (enabling each profession to work collaboratively and effectively with others). As such, students will be encouraged to engage in learning interactions between different professions to explore these key competencies. In this second module, students will explore Mutual role understanding, collaborating and challenging respectfully, valuing and using diverse sources of evidence, shared decision making and working together.
