Description of module content:

This practice module will develop your practice proficiency commensurate with Part 2 of the BN programme. This will involve demonstration an increase range of communication, relationship management and procedural skills and an ability to analyse and utilise evidence to inform clinical decision-making. You will develop and demonstrate an increasing ability to work autonomously and coordinate care within the context of the wider health and social care team.You will also demonstrate developing clinical leadership proficiency as you care for those with altered care needs offering support and guidance to other health and care staff.At each stage you will be supported and assessed by suitably trained professionals based on skills and proficiencies outlined in your Practice Assessment Document (PAD).
Learning Outcomes for module:

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Develop insight and demonstrate safe, effective and person-centred nurse care within your field of practice.

LO2: Utilise a problem-solving approach to deliver evidence-based nursing care and begin to practice autonomously in care delivery in health and social care settings.
