Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Approach:
This module will be taught using various methods of delivery. Predominantly, delivery will be face-to-face via a series of lectures to develop a basis of theoretical studies and readings. Tutorials will be used to further support the lectures (LO1, LO2 and LO3). A series of case studies and scenarios will support the application of theory to real world practice. In addition to case studies and scenarios supporting learning, this module not only allows you focus on developing collaborative skills through group work (LO2 and LO3), but it also allows you an opportunity to develop an awareness of your own leadership and management skills (LO4).

Formative Assessment:
Group presentation: In week 8 you will receive feedback via a group presentation. The presentation is directly linked with portfolio (summative assessment 1) and will be in the form of a progress report and an update your work until that point. At this stage you will receive feedback that will enable them to refine your final submission for component 1.

Summative Assessment:
Component 1: You will be required to undertake a group project culminating in a group 2500 word portfolio submission (week 12, 60%, LO 1-3).
Component 2: You will be required to give an individual 1500 word reflective account of your own personal leadership and management skills (week 15, 40%, LO4).
