Description of module content:

This module will be a continuation of Introduction to Performance Analysis and Performance Analysis in Football. It will provide you with an opportunity to develop an advanced understanding and knowledge of performance analysis in relation to shape, style and phases of play within match analysis. The module will also introduce you to data analysis techniques, allowing you to sort, manage, interpret and present event and physical data within football.
Learning Outcomes for module:

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Critically identify specific areas for tactical performance enhancement based on performance analysis data.

LO2: Design evidence based recommendations to enhance the teams’ tactical performance context.

LO3: Sort, manage and interpret data sets associated with event and physical football performance data

LO4: Critically review and report physical and event data in appropriate formats
