Description of module content:

Website creation fundamental skills – creating/editing/managing source files;
publishing web-pages on a webserver
Authoring a website using HTML & CSS.
Basics of website functionality: Menus, Forms, use of PHP and/or database back-end
Content Management Systems – install, populate and manage a contemporary opensource
web content management system.
Website “soft skills” – awareness of design, usability, evaluation, & marketing issues
