Description of module content:

The purpose of this module is for you to demonstrate your ability to develop and implement a project in the field of business management. Completing the undergraduate project will provide you with the opportunity to apply the knowledge, research skills, and analytical tools you have acquired from previous modules in the programme. Your learning on this module will be experiential and problem-based, focusing on discovering, questioning, and critically reflecting upon a real-world business problem. The output of this module will include a research proposal, a comprehensive project report and a pre-recorded narrated PowerPoint presentation. You will be guided through the project development process by tutors in small groups, ensuring support and collaboration throughout your learning journey.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Identify and describe a current business challenge faced by an organisation operating in today’s dynamic business environment.

LO2: Explore a business problem by reviewing relevant academic sources, industry reports, and practitioner insights.

LO3: Critically assess a business problem by applying appropriate analytical methods and working with qualitative or/and quantitative secondary data to develop actionable solutions.

LO4: Identify, present, and evaluate relevant data to critically examine and address a business problem, while providing appropriate recommendations.
