Description of module content:

The purpose of this module is for you to demonstrate your ability to develop and implement a management project in the field of business management. Completing the MBA project will provide you with the opportunity to apply the knowledge, research skills, and analytical and conceptual tools that you have acquired from the previous taught modules. Your learning on this module is experiential and problem-based, with a focus upon you discovering, questioning, and critically reflecting upon a business problem. The output from the module will be the MBA project and a pre-recorded narrated PowerPoint. You will be guided through the process in groups by tutors.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Identify a business problem facing an organisation in the 21st century business environment.

LO2: Review a business problem by critically examining the relevant academic, grey and practitioner literature.

LO3: Critically assess the business problem by applying appropriate analysis.

LO4: Identify, present, and evaluate data relevant for assessing and addressing the problem along with appropriate recommendations for the business.
