Description of module content:

The module does not have a taught component. You will work individually with a supervisor to finalise your proposal, plan, carry out and write up your research.

Upon completion of this module you will be able to:
LO1: Develop an appropriate research question
LO2: Select and critically evaluate appropriate secondary sources from existing research
LO3: Select an appropriate design for the collection and analysis of data, drawing on a range of qualitative and/or quantitative techniques
LO4: Design and conduct appropriate data collection, analytical and interpretative strategies for individual research
LO5: Demonstrate the research, presentation and practical skills required to produce an independent, coherent piece of extended research.
