Description of module content:

The aim of the module is to introduce fundamental business skills such as managingpeople, basic finance, hospitality and marketing that can be applied in a workplace.Following an 8-week teaching block you will then go on a work based placement in abusiness organisation for 8 weeks.
Learning Outcomes for module:

Upon completion of this module you will be able to

LO1: Demonstrate a basic knowledge of a range of business activities.

LO2: Effectively communicate your subject knowledge in various formats including orallyand in writing.
