Description of module content:

The rationale for government involvement in tourism; the types of government involvement; the tourism policy system; structures and stakeholders in tourism policy; tourism planning and the planning process, the impact of ASEAN policies on tourism development; tourism policy and structures worldwide with particular reference to Singapore, Malaysia and SE Asia.
