Face To Face Tutorial 3.5 To address LO: 1-4 Oral presentation supported by visual aids in the form of PowerPoint slides will be used. Since LO1-4 focus on acquiring knowledge and understanding, the use of presentation seems suitable Tutor will ask questions to check understanding of the key concepts/theories covered and you will be given an opportunity to ask for clarification.
Face To Face GROUPSCHEDULED 1 You will discuss in a group how your attitudes towards neurodivergent people may affect your behaviours in professional practice (LO2).
Independent Learning GROUPSCHEDULED 1 After gaining knowledge and understanding about main strengths/challenges presented by neurodivergent people and the role of strength based approach in supporting them (LO 3, 4), you will have an opportunity to work in small groups (4-5 students) on a clinical scenario presenting the case of an autistic adult attending the first session. You will be instructed to give examples of questions you would ask during the assessment session, paying attention to the necessary adjustments to language.
