Topics covered:
• Project management (team roles, planning and budgeting, resource management, development cycles etc.) and associated documentation
• Design concepts appropriate to the development of digital media
• Specification of resources and digital media assets
• Contract issues, rights, copyright and other intellectual property.
• Development tools (scenarios, storyboards, concept of narrative etc.)
• Production, Archiving and Delivery

Learning Outcomes for module:

Upon completion of this module, students will be able to:
LO1: Demonstrate a practical understanding of a digital media production process, including pre-production, production and post-production.
LO2: Demonstrate knowledge and practical understanding of contracts, copyright and other intellectual property.
LO3: Reflect on strengths and weakness in your own work and the work of others.
LO4: Determine and implement a media project in a principled way.
LO5: Work effectively both individually and as a member of a media development team.
